The arepa is originally from Venezuela and Colombia. It is a corn pocket that is baked or fried and stuffed with a variety of fillings, usually savory. During this hour, Adriana Lopez-Vermut (Isadora ’24) will teach us how to make this flexible food item at home! The arepa is 100% gluten-free, vegan, and handcrafted. We will deliver HARINA pan and queso fresco to stuff the arepas that we make together.
