Monday, May 11, 7:30pm - 8:30pm (EDT)
You're invited to join this community gathering focused on student trauma, including how to recognize and respond to it. Dr. Tara Doaty of Sage Wellness Group will join us to share what trauma is and how it impacts emotional, behavioral, and academic development. She will also share strategies for implementation to support students impacted by trauma (and not retrigger trauma behaviors), and prevent burn-out and vicarious traumatization among educators.
Dr. Doaty has more than 18 years of experience working with parents, families, and survivors of trauma. She is a national speaker, professional development provider, author of a children’s book, and founder of Sage Wellness Group, a national consulting firm committed to using a trauma-informed and responsive lens to assist agencies in improving services provided to children or families.
